And so it begins. In just two short weeks our crack crew of eighteen will begin our journey to Cochabamba, Bolivia. With feelings from excitement to fear and everything in between, we eagerly await our opportunity to join our nineteenth member, Jen Adams, who left one week ahead of us. With our in country itinerary ranging from relationship building, to VBS, to pouring concrete we know that the Lord has amazing things in store for us on this trip. As the team prepares to leave home, and our Crossview family, we ask that you be praying for us. Pray for our families, who will certainly miss us – some of whom have a heavy load to bear while we are gone; pray for all the technical details and safe travels; but most of all pray for our hearts that we will be constantly open to God’s plan for each of us during this time even when we feel too vulnerable.
We are so grateful that you will be joining us on this amazing learning adventure, albeit in virtual form! We will continue to post updates and pictures so you can share in these experiences.
Until next time, we leave you with our team verse:
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.
